What are chargeback prevention alerts?
Chargeback prevention alerts warn you when a cardholder disputes a payment, before the dispute becomes a chargeback. The warnings come through the card networks: Visa RDR and CDRN through Verifi, and Mastercard alerts through Ethoca. Acting inside the window, usually 24 to 72 hours, lets you refund or resolve the order so no chargeback ever posts to your ratio.
